Episode #1 – Seeing the Future

In this episode, we begin our analysis of the hit new show, Flashforward. What would you do if you were given a glimpse of your own future? We talk about what the flashforward moments are, how the characters are affected by them and what we think certain characters will do after getting a glimpse of their own future.

In episode two, there are two mystery characters introduced. Who are they and what role do they have in the flashforwards themselves? In this episode, we give our predictions and speculate on where these characters fit into the plot.

Finally, we look briefly at the idea of having a fixed fate, a topic we hope to cover on a future show. It seems that some of the characters see their flashforward as something that they cannot change while others feel that the flashforward were a warning.

   Nice podcast! Btw, Agent Noh does try to “dial *69″ or equivalent-immediately after the mysterious woman hangs up- but he can’t get any information-”can’t complete call” message or something…
   I really find the idea of if one does things to change the future does one then end up inadvertently causing it? I am curious as to whether Olivia’s desperate attempts to avoid the boy’s father will somehow end putting them together….although I suppose the next preview seems to indicate it may be the son that ends up putting them together…
