Hey Reg,

Thanks for the comment! That was a very interesting scene and I really thought the actors played it very well.

My guess is that the actor playing Lloyd knows that there's something coming and there are some subtleties in his acting that will come out over a few shows in the future that aren't apparent now.

It seems to me that a lot of shows are going the "Usual Suspects" route - as in the movie. If you've seen that particular movie, Kevin Spacey had an amazing performance that changes after you've seen the move once. It's a great technique.

I'm hoping that they pull that off with a character in Flashforward.

I really like your show, because I like the way that you explore the spiritual aspects of the show. This is a deep show if you wish to look at it that way. It works on so many levels.

My favourite scene as far has got to be the meeting between Lloyd, Oliva and Mark, it had tension, humour, arkwardness. And had some really good lines "oh your the other woman" said Lloyd, Mark replied "no,not yet". Wow !

Keep up the good work shot Reg from the UK

I can't get out of my head that this Black Swan was not just an anomoly for the world, i.e., what the heck happened? but that it was also an unexpected event for the perpetrators.

If those pylons are designed to emit some kind of signal, the "walkers" or confederates, if you will, will need something to be immune to the signal -- thus, not only did their cell phones work, but they didn't succumb to the black out. What if their design was not to cause people to black out, but that it was designed to shut down electronic devices across the globe.

Today's greatest terrorist threat is not blowing up a building and killing just a few thousand people, it's incapacitating a nation through it's infrastructure, which is electronically driven. The mad scientist would be focused on that end, and not noticing dead crows, which are ultimately a nuisance and who cares about them (please leave me alone PETA)except that it was a huge clue that perhaps they ignored. Even miners knew to use canaries as signals that they were in danger. These guys ignored the ominous warning that came from the crows!

Anyway, back to the pylons. If they were designed to emit a signal, what if the frequency or some technical thing was incorrectly callibrated. Human brains are electrical, after all. That just seems the direction my mine is flowing at the moment. Talk to me again some other time and it might be different. :-)

Good show! I appreciate the candor.

My favorite example of that film style with the jazz was in an episode of X-files where they were on an ocean liner running from Nazis. The were playing Sing, Sing, Sing (and ending in a scene requiring a confession). I think we get a lot of clues about what's going on in the music on this show.

Jeff Young did a great job! I loved the insight from everyone.

You know, I thought that Pat was a bit crazy to suggest that Dimitri was a walker. However, the more I think about it, I do really wonder. That would certainly be a huge plot twist and a fun one at that.

I haven't watched episode 4 yet, but I'm hoping to sometime tonight.

You guys really make this series worth more while. That theory of Agent Dimitri Noh being a 'walker' really set me on! I can't wait until the next episode will show up on Hulu and then your next podcast so I can 'share' my thoughts virtually with you guys!

Yeah, I noticed that it was kinda weird that Dmitri was so far away from the car. I mean, if I was in a car with someone and we crashed, I think I would be very motivated to check on that person's safety, don't you think? I think this Dmitri is from another timeline, and this timeline's Dmitri is dead which would explain why perhaps he apparated in a location close to, but not inside the car. I think there is going to be some dimensional overlap with some of the characters.

Nice podcast! Btw, Agent Noh does try to "dial *69" or equivalent-immediately after the mysterious woman hangs up- but he can't get any information-"can't complete call" message or something...
I really find the idea of if one does things to change the future does one then end up inadvertently causing it? I am curious as to whether Olivia's desperate attempts to avoid the boy's father will somehow end putting them together....although I suppose the next preview seems to indicate it may be the son that ends up putting them together...
Looking forward to more shows!
